my childhood just hit like a hangover

So plain and simple, but still fun and fast paced. Good job!

I like the pace of this game. And the upgrading is strategic, pick the smart upgrades or it will come back to bite you in the ass later.
Gameplay wise I would add more variety in the combos, but other than that the game is solid.

The gameplay was actually kind of fun and simple. I would make the characters a little larger or zoom in so you can see the fighting better.

Now the other stuff. Navigating the UI is terrible. You might as well move with actual mouse cursor instead of simulating a cursor with a keyboard. QuickPlay doesn't do anything, but I'm guessing that this is a work in progress.

The last thing is not really a complaint, it's something I noticed. The UI looks pretty good, you got alot settings to tweak, and it looks like you can replay. That being said, I would've liked the same effort put into the fighting, like adding weapons or power drops or something to make me want to keep playing.
